St. Jude 7th grade student presents project to judges during Science Fair
St. Jude School & Preschool Holds Annual Science Fair!  Students in grades 7 and 8 have worked hard on their Science Fair projects.  Their efforts began in May, 2011, when they researched and selected their projects.  Students have spent the past 9 months researching, investigating and analyzing their results in preparation for the Science Fair.  Judges having science related backgrounds reviewed the projects and quizzed the students on their projects.  Five 7th grade students and three 8th grade students received awards and have the opportunity to advance to participate in the Mohican District Science Fair which will be held at Ashland University on March 24th.  Good luck to all of our budding scientists!

St. Jude Students Shine at Power of the Pen Tournament!  Two seventh grade students and five eighth grade students recently competed in the first round of the Power of the Pen tournament that was held at St. Raphaels in Bay Village.  The entire team did an outstanding job, scoring in the “honors” category for the team.  Three members of the team placed high enough and will be advancing to the Power of the Pen Regional tournament which will be held in Sandusky on March 24th.  Students who do well at that tournament will be eligible to compete at the state level in May.  Great job to everyone who participated!
